Privacy
Burn CD does not use user accounts or store shared mixtapes in an application database. This page explains the information involved when you search, preview, and share a virtual CD.
Music searches and previews
Search terms are sent through Burn CD's server to Apple's public iTunes Search API. Track metadata, artwork, and available audio previews are delivered from Apple-controlled services and are subject to Apple's own policies.
Shared CD links
A share link contains the selected public iTunes track IDs. If you add a note, the note is also encoded into the URL. The link is not private: anyone who receives or discovers it can open the virtual CD and read the note. Do not include passwords, financial details, health information, or other sensitive material.
Hosting data
Cloudflare hosts the site and may process standard request information such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals to deliver and protect the service. Burn CD does not currently include advertising trackers or a product analytics script.
Your choices
You can use the site without creating an account. You can avoid adding a personal note, close the page without sharing, or ask a recipient to delete the link you sent. Because a CD is encoded in its URL rather than saved to an account, Burn CD cannot recover, edit, or selectively revoke an individual share link.
